RoofSquares is operated by Rede Group Inc ("Rede Group", "we", "us"). Rede Group Inc is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. Contact us at roofintake@gmail.com.

2. What we collect and why

  • Account data — name, email address and login credentials, used to create and secure your account (legal basis: contract performance).
  • Service data — property addresses you look up, roof reports, invoices, notes and team membership details, used to provide the service (legal basis: contract performance).
  • Support messages — anything you send us when you ask for help (legal basis: legitimate interests).
  • Usage and device data — IP address, device identifiers and telemetry about how you use the service, used for security, fraud prevention and product improvement (legal basis: legitimate interests).
  • Voice recordings — only when you press the dictation microphone, processed to convert your speech to text and not stored afterward (legal basis: consent).

Payment details are collected and processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, and are not covered by this notice.

3. Who we share data with

  • Service providers — hosting, database, mapping and weather data providers that help us run the service.
  • Paddle — our Merchant of Record, for the sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
  • Professional advisers — legal and accounting advisers where needed.
  • Authorities — where we are required to share data by law.

4. Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as long afterward as needed for legal, accounting or dispute purposes. When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email roofintake@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

6. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls that limit data to its owner.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies only — the ones needed to keep you signed in and keep the service secure. We do not use analytics or marketing cookies. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but sign-in will stop working.
